Introducing Neala Marie ~ January 27, 2009!!!

One hour after arriving at the hospital~

Signed in to Labor & Delivery at 8:30am & Neala made her entrance at 9:32am without any meds and without the doctor in the room. Thank goodness I've done this before, lol!

Daddy is an old pro now at cutting the cord.

Everytime I turn my back he has chewed another piece of chalk.

No matter where I hide it he seems to find a new piece to eat!

Not sure if you can see in the picture but his lips and some of his teeth have blue spots on them!

Reegan's Celebration

Now I am not sure how this all unfolded but Reegan is a HUGE Obama supporter! Bobby & I have never had any political discussions in front of her but somehow she has caught on to this whirlwind of excitement! She wanted to stay home for the Obama Inauguration but we settled on coming home early instead.

Here is a take on Reegan's participation during the big event!

Like all Classy First Ladies she had some pretty jewels on to mark the celebration.

She tried on mommy's pearls...

But went with her good old stand by ~her pretty blue beads.

She told me to wear the pearls!

She even let Quinton wear one of her bead necklaces.

Everytime I asked her if she was excited she would make this face! This was when they introduced him before swearing him in as President.

Everytime they said his name - she would scream!

Cheering along with the crowd on TV.

Everytime Reegan clapped and said "Go Obama", he would clap!

The start of the Oath... I can't believe she paid this much attention.

"He's the President Mom!"

She asked Quinton if he was happy and then gave him this BIG hug! lol!!

They were both saying "GO! GO! GO!"

SLEDDING!

We took the kids sledding last weekend. Reegan and Q's first time!!! Reegan loved it and Q was not too thrilled. He does love to be out in the cold so he was very content with just sitting in the sled watching. Devon was funny he kept saying he forgot how fun it was to go sledding. We haven't gotten good snow here for sledding since we moved here!

This is what 10 days left looks like!

I don't post many pics of myself, usually because I forget to get on the other side of the camera. However, this is the last belly bump! So I thought I should log a pic here! Whooo-hooo 10 days left.

18 months old

At the Pedi office Quinton weighed in at 23lbs and measured 33 inches tall. I think most of his weight is in that big noggin of his, lol. I checked back on Reegan's record and she had him by 7lbs and 1 inch at the same age (Yikes!). So he is a bit smaller... but still a handsome devil.
